Our booking conditions
Rental is from Saturday to Saturday for a week’s holiday and Friday or Monday for short breaks, extra nights/alternative start days may be available in low season (please ask)
To allow time for thorough cleaning, please arrive after 3:00pm and depart before 10:00am.
Cottage must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Any additional cleaning will be billed.
Visitors agree to pay for any damage that occurs as a result of carelessness or accident the cottage.
Breakages or damage occurring during your visit must be reported to us upon your departure, or before if possible
Candles must only be used if the power fails (for insurance purposes)
For the comfort of all our visitors within The Cottage there is no smoking and pets are not allowed.
We reserve the right to enter the cottage at reasonable times to carry out any necessary repairs. (We will notify you well in advance and they will be kept to a minimum)
The holiday price does not include Cancellation Insurance and if you wish, you should take out your own.
Balance is due 6 weeks before holiday starts. Late bookings within 6 weeks of start must be paid for in full at the time of booking. For very late bookings (within 2 weeks of start), only full payment in cash (not cheques) on arrival will be accepted. Faster payments via bank transfer are also accepted for last minute bookings.
If you have to cancel, we will re-advertise your week/s and if the week/s are successfully re-let we will return your balance excluding your non-returnable £50 deposit.
To comply with GDPR we never pass your details to anyone, we store your details safely and dispose of them after the time stated in the law.
We may from time to time contact you with special offers relevant to your stay.
All bed linen and towels
All electricity, oil central heating and hot water.
A laid fire and the first basket of logs
A welcome pack comprising of a bottle of wine, a bunch of fresh flowers, provisions for tea/coffee with fresh milk and a bar of hand made soap in the bathroom.
Use of the private garden, garden furniture and BBQ.
1.Check the website for availability – we update daily, use the ‘contact us’ page to show your interest, I can then post you a booking form and arrange your deposit by cheque, bank transfer or PayPal.
2. Follow our online payment system for full payment via card at the time of booking, in the event of a cancellation your money minus £50 will be returned if its more than 6 weeks to your stay.
3. We will hold your booking for 7 days awaiting deposit and booking form.
4. Complete the booking form and send your non refundable deposit of £50 per week or short break back via email and paypal or by letter and cheque the address is on the ‘contact us’ page.
Payments can also be sent via bank transfer.
